This arena-shaped, multipurpose hall, with a capacity of 8,500, holds cultural and sporting events. The whale-shaped exterior's maritime theme and interior using cedar and local timbers express Wakayama'a natural surroundings. Retractable seating allows the layout to be changed for different events.
